This is a plain-language summary of how Circles handles your information during the invite-only beta. It is a working draft and will be replaced by a full policy before general availability.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and reach out about the beta.
- Content you create — posts, replies, reactions, and the Circles you join.
- Basic device and diagnostic data to keep the app running and fix crashes.
How we use it
We use your data to operate Circles: delivering your feed, sending notifications and digests, and keeping your account secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party ads.
Who can see your content
Circles are private by default. Posts and replies are visible to the members of the Circles they are shared in. Fully private Circles are invite-only and hidden from discovery.
Data retention & your choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing us. We keep waitlist emails only until we have onboarded or contacted you about the beta.
